Random thread, but I was just thinking about this yesterday and wanted to see if anyone else feels the same..

I am a doctor, and I noticed whenever I am having a rough day, or something is upsetting me, my iPhone is always there to cheer me up..

Whether I plug in some headphones and listen to music, read up on a funny website, play a few words with friends games, look back on some photos from a fun time..

It is nice to know that I have all of my music, photos, social tools, and games all in one, and it never leaves my side..

This may sound silly, but my iPhone is a constant joy for me.

Anyone else?

I couldn't go back to having a non-smart phone. It makes my life easier and I think it is great. I'd stop short of saying it is a source of constant joy!

I have been found out!

I actually am a psychiatrist..

I have had a few people tell me of their addictions to iphones, I actually had one tell me they own 10 brand new iPhones incase one breaks!

Oh come on, that can't be true :p

Sounds like you could use a girlfriend. The joy and excitement will be much greater. ;)

No. My iPhone is just a tool that makes my life much easier and simpler for me. While i do appreciate the time it can save me and the ability to store photos and music, I can't honestly say it makes me happy like when i am out with my friends and / or girlfriend. i'm glad i have an iphone but i know it will be replaceable every year so i don't obsess over it.

I am married to a wonderful and beautiful woman, thanks for your concern!

She just cannot be by my side 24/7 like the iPhone :(

And yes it is TRUE that the person purchased 10 iPhones to backup..
