Does your keyboard backlight flash when booting/rebooting?

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro 2.0ghz and the keyboard backlight started to flash just once when I boot it after I did a reformat. I'm pretty sure this didn't happen before the reformat so I'm just wondering if this is normal or if something is up.

I'm on Lion 10.7.2

I found out the reason!

So I have my computer to auto-login as myself but it seems like the computer goes through the login page briefly and the login page had the keyboard backlight on. So what I did was turn auto-log in off, turn the backlight off at the log in screen, and everything was fine.
