Hi there guys,

I was wondering if this is acceptable for a one day old machine or wether I should go ahed and return it, I don't want to walk away with a worse machine than this.

The Specs are 2.9GHz intel core i7

8GB 1600 RAM

Does your MBP have this issue? It seems like Black Dots on the left corner of the screen.

Thanks alot!

How com you wouldn't recommend me replacing the whole unit?

Well, it's more environmentally friendly to just get the screen replaced for one thing. Replacing the display isn't too invasive. You know your computer works, why take the risk of getting a bad one?

I had to have mine replaced on my 2.5 month old computer. Kind of irked me at first, but I later opened it up to upgrade RAM and there were no traces of anyone being in there.

I don't like that idea, the problem is, I don't want to be without a computer for more than a few days. I also don't live anywhere near a apple retail store.

Thanks for your help though.
