Doesn’t see watch OS 8 update

My watch says software is up to date but I’m on watch os 7.6. I have last years model. Anyone else experiencing this?

You've already updated your phone to the required iOS 15, yes?

I'm experiencing the same thing. I had iOS 15 Beta and thought it might be the profile so I deleted that. Still, after a reset, my watch says Watch OS 7.6 is up to date.

Turns out I had a beta profile on my watch (go figure)

Resolved on watch > Settings > General > Profiles —> removed Beta profile

Problem solved!
