Hello,

So I used the program Monolingual the other day...Yeah, bad idea. Now excel and PS CS2 are not loading at all. Found out that my problem is more than likely due to Monolingual.

Anyways, I have a stock C2D 15''. My documents and CD that came with the machine are back in Boston, I am in San Diego.

Is there a way to do an archive and install without the disc?

I'm new to macs, thanks!

Yep, Monolingual is the cause of your problem. But you will need your install discs in order to do the Archive and Install to recover from it...sorry! :(

You can certainly do that, but I don't know if they'll be willing to help you...doesn't hurt to ask though. Might want to think about having somebody track down your discs and overnight them to you.

Sadly its in a dorm room. DOH!

Darn program....

Hmm...

I bet a genius would be able to do an archive and install...I mean, since you have an Intel Mac, you OBVIOUSLY own a license Tiger, because that's the only OS that's been released for the Intels.

I'd go ask.

Yup and I can show them my receipt if need be.

Will be making an appointment tomorrow.

Thanks guys!
