I have the latest Apple TV, a kick ass receiver with great support for everything. The receiver has 10 speakers attached five at the front four at the back plus sub.
I play Baby Driver from iTunes movies and the receiver confirms its playing In ATMOS.
The rear two presence speakers are not firing up. Everything else is great.

Is this a limitation of Apple TV do you know?

You don't have the Reduce Loud Sounds feature of the Apple TV turned on, do you? There is a bug in tvOS 15 where that feature can cause some channels to not work right when playing Atmos content.

Will check and get back to you. Thanks

It works out that my av receiver won’t play through all those speaker in one go, it will only output two présence speakers, front or back.
Thanks anyways but I’m unable to test Apple TV output.

That's only a 7 channel receiver. The other two are an alternate zone or other configurations. You will only get 7 channels at once on that receiver.
