Just saw on MSNBC that Don Knotts has passed away. From The Andy Griffith Show to Three's Company, he is a televison legend. My grandpa used to fish with his brother.

I am really sorry to hear this, The Andy Griffith Show happens to be one of my favorite shows and Barney is my favorite character from the show. I have seen all of the episodes and have many of them on DVD.

Duff-Man says....it is completely silly of course (as it was supposed to be) but I loved him in "The Reluctant Astronaut" ...oh yeah!
