Dongle for TV

I don't have an AppleTV and I'm not interested in buying one at the moment.

Does anyone know if its possible to get a dongle for my TV which allows me mirror my iMac to my TV either by HDMI or Airplay?

There are many wireless HDMI solutions. Just google around for them. Most that I've seen only support 1080p.

Order from somewhere with a good return policy. Wireless streaming is always tricky, and what works flawlessly for someone else might not work at all in your home.
