Don't expect a 4.1 jailbreak anytime soon.

Comex has already confirmed that he''s not waiting for 4.1 to be out...

I'm not waiting for 4.1 so I hope everyone has SHSH blobs saved. :p

Just figured I'd post this since most people only pay attention to regular tweets and not replies.

Thanks for that! i'm at work and not allowed to go onto twitter (no cell phones allowed either -_-) anything else going on?
 
4.1 isn't even out. So I don't see this as a problem at all.
If you follow comex's advice and save your SHSH blobs now for 4.0 and 4.0.1 then you will have no problem restoring. But in the event that Apple do release 4.1 any time soon then newer devices wont be able to be jailbroken.

Also comex isn't the only guy working on a jailbreak. Musclenerd and planetbeing have been working on the unlock and obviously cannot do this without a working jailbreak. It just depends if they use the same method, I couldn't comment on that though.

You do realize that all of the people you mentioned above work together, right? MN and PB do not have another jailbreak :p

I've saved the SHSH for my iPad, but that was months ago. Can someone point me in the right direction so I can do the same for my ip4??

Yes, it seems like a jailbreak is coming soon for 4.0/4.0.1, but if Apple fixes the exploit in 4.1, Comex does not have another working exploit.

I just figured I'd give out a warning to the people who are "accidentally" going to upgrade to 4.1 without backing up their SHSH blobs and DEMAND the dev team for a new jailbreak. I know there are still gonna be whiners either way.
