iPod touch Don't get notifications on my iPod touch 2g

hello guyz
pls help me out ..... i have ipod touch 2g MB model running on ios 4.2.1
i dont get any notifications ( facebook, viber , wechat) on my ipod when i use internet in my home but at my uncle's home i get all notifications whether its from twitter,facebook,viber etc.....
any1 can help??????

Check your router settings and unplugged / replug it.

Your wifi probably isn't on or your not connected
