Just placed an order of a maxed out MBP 16 with the new 5600M. Hopefully it will not be a mistake. Really not used to the 2018 butterfly keyboard.

But the 16" doesn't have butterfly keyboard. The 16" has scissor switches.

Congratulations on your new 16" I have one myself but the base i7 and I would really like to have that GPU !

I would highly recommend thorough testing of the machine with an external monitor...if you ever plan connect an external monitor.

paid fast shipping. Expect June 30-July2 for delivery. Will need to connect external monitor but read issues in the forum and made me uncertain about this new mbp. My 2018 MBP 15 (also maxed out) does not have a big problem with external monitor---- actually it does bump up the temperature from 35~37C to 52~60C, but the fan does not kick in.
