My problem is simple. I have a laptop running Linux os Ubuntu v11.04, and is there a some sort of iTunes program that will work with that OS? If so, what can i use instead of iTunes and to use with my iPhone 4?

I was able to get iTunes working in Slackware 13.X wit Wine. Sound never worked and it froze up all the time. It would only show half of the columns and would never see the iPhone.

I stopped there and decided I didn't want to put forth any more effort. :)

So look into using Wine or another version of Wine.

Don't. This is known to not work.

I have the orginal hd for it, but i thought if i fired up Ubuntu and played with it, i thought i would find a easy way to use it with my iPhone 4, but i can see now it is a useless system. Thnx all for the answers..
