I own a 3g phone and experienced many of the problems people are expressing in this forum. I was told by Apple it was a software issue, I was told by Apple my phone needs to be replaced, I was told by apple its my sim card. I've done a restore from back up, restore as a new device. Still had problems. Decided to restore as new device again, then restore from back up to get my contacts and apps back. During my 3rd attempt i received a carrier update and another iphone update?, which baffles me as everyone says theres no new update. So Obviously I missed something. Its been 3 days now and must say my phone, my apps and wifi working great. My phone is not a jail broken phone and runs as good as it did before. The only thing is I noticed my battery drains a little faster but what can I say, all is working good. Maybe a double restore as new device helps?
