Since everyone's in a silly Friday mood (yay!). Here's my contribution for the AT&T rants:

Sorry you're not happy with the agreement you made, but it's a package deal. You can't get an iPhone without AT&T like you can't get a Red Ryder BB gun without getting shot in the eye. Sure we don't love AT&T, we love the iPhone. And I love the corporate discounts.

From what most people post here the iPhone is a steaming pile because of the lack of features (as compared collectively to all other mobile phones past present and future) and the Pre/Android/Cricket solves all those problems. At least until next week when OS 3.0 comes out.

Or you can lock yourself into a two year contract at Sprint and hope they stay in business that long. The majority of those two years will be spent on hold waiting for customer service. Last I knew they offshored their support to Texas (don't get me started).

Since Sprint's craptastic website doesn't allow an easy copy, here's a link to their comparison to AT&T. Don't forget to read the part where they can terminate your service if you roam too much, so plan your travel around their coverage.

Hell, Sprint could pay me $99 a month and I still wouldn't use their service. Ummm... Scratch that. I would. But I would then go to Sprint's support forum (if they have one) and bitch about what a crappy phone/contract I'm in.

Happy Friday! :p
