Dont understand my temps

Alright just to let you know, my temps in my macbook before lion used to idle at 27'C.

I had installed lion and didnt like it. Would reach temps of 50'C on idle and even go to 101'C when stressed but no change to fan speed.

Reinstalled snow leopard, and now the temps are acting the same way as in lion and the fan speeds no longer speed up when heated past 90'C.

Ive looked around these forums as well as other sites, but its starting to bother me that people say this is normal, when my previous experiences with my macbook tell me otherwise.

Any insight as to what might be going on would be helpful.

Maybe some crazy app is going haywire. Check Activity Monitor. Or it's the fans. Could be the season you're in as well.

Already checked those, Room temp is around 78'C so i doubt the weather outside is affecting my temps inside my room. I'm just worried that the sensor in my macbook might be acting up.
