Let's just hope we don't get spontaneous 3-beep codes. I used to have a 2009 MacBook Air and that only started when I heated up the RAM chips with my heat gun.

Single handedly transforming the dreaded 2008-2009 15" MacBook Pros from zeros to heroes...doing CPU upgrades on a MacBook 5,2, a Pismo, an iMac and an MDD...putting a CPU socket on a mini...and now this? Seriously, is there anything they can't do?

I'm just waiting for them to do something even more outlandish like putting an M1 Ultra in a PowerBook 540c.

There are several Techies they offered to upgrade the RAM (4 to8 GB) on my MacBook Air 2010 for $200
some offered less, but they were novices, and this was in 2018-19.

Dosdude is the MacBook guru though, and kept me in the  system with the Mojave patch!

If you aren’t keen on Snow Leopard, a 2012 MBA with 8 GB is a much better deal. :)
that is a very good point, There are several out there, but mine MBA is doing great!
i might get a MBPro 2012 on eBay when i see a good deal soon.
there is no urgent need for me to get one, but.....
i will try to get one from a original human user instead of a refurbished shop.
