Just want to double check that this is ok to do. Specifically, I was going to go into finder-->Mac HD-->Applications (Mac OS 9) and drag this into the trash. Will this mess OS X up at all (I have never once used OS 9)? And is this an ok way to go about it.

I know there were previous posts about this in 2003/4 but I wanted to see if there were new considerations or if it was easier now. Thanks

You certainly can do it, but it's a bit complicated to do it cleanly. Just dragging your OS 9 Applications folder to the trash doesn't remove the OS. That's in System Folder. Here is a summary of the Apple-approved method of removing all traces of OS 9 and its apps. Just be extremely careful with those Terminal commands.

yea, you better respond to my question after all that. ;) just kidding. thanks
