Hi and Hello!
I would just like to run through a possible set-up scenario, and double check with the community to see if it would work.
It involves:
1. MacBook Pro (15 inch, 2.0Ghz, latest release) [which would then link to #2]
2. Moshi Mini DP to HDMI adapter [links to #3]
3. HDMI Cable [links to the back of said monitor]
4. Monitor (Link: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product...spx?path=dac9badcae90d457dbbba2015475819aen02)
So hopefully that would work out. And, in regards to connectivity from the computer to the monitor, how would the MacBook pro pick up or sense the monitor? Would it be something in the system settings? Or would I just have to go onto my monitor and switch it over to the HDMI channel.
[BONUS Question To Xbox 360 Users below:]
- When connecting to the same monitor but using an XBOX to VGA Cable, would attaching an RCA-Y adapter with a 3.5mm jack [link here: http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/product...px?path=87f60bce63cacd68f5e12c680a667e27en02] to the A/V cables plug into the back of my monitor well? Sorry if that sounded confusing, but it's a bonus question if you can answer it.
