Double clicking hidden folders

The only way i can open hidden folders is to right click them and choose open. I can't double click on a folder or file to open them. Anyone having this "problem"?

Yes. Glad to hear it isn't just me!

. . . But it does give me a good reason to wean myself off ShowAllFiles . . .

I really don't need it for anything except the User Library, and I'm getting sick of looking at .DS_Store all the time . . .
