After the installation of macOS Sierra, I was prompted to change my user password, so it wouldn't be the same as my Apple ID (which is something OS X El Capitan had convinced me to do). Whatever, I entered a new password and it wasn't a big deal.
Today I restarted my MacBook Air and after booting, the standard login screen appeared. I wrote my new password but it wasn't accepted. I tried two more times but without success. Then, I tried my Apple ID password as before and it worked!
But not entirely, the login screen appeared again. I had a feeling that I should use the new password in that moment. It didn't work. The reason was simple. I normally use Czech-QWERTY keyboard layout (the standard Czech layout is QWERTZ) and my new password includes the letter Z, so I was accidentally writing Y.
I never had an issue with this on the login screen (probably because my Apple ID password doesn't include Y or Z).
It's one of those "I can live with it but it's driving me crazy" things. Is there a solution to get rid of the double login and to tell the login screen to use my keyboard layout?
