Weird. I have a second monitor, and if I'm copying files from one folder to another on the same system, the copy drag and drop all of the sudden pops over to the second monitor! Like right in the center of it! It happens in a flash, so after I saw it happening, it's hard to not end up with the copy bombing. It's most annoying, and very surprising. Like WTH! It's not funny...

This is obviously a bug somewhere!

If I 'wag' the copy block around a little bit, I can make Catalina believe that I definitely want to copy to the same system (the iMac).

Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a driver missing? Has it gone psycho?

My other Catalina issue is that the menu bar, well actually the programs too, seize at times. It's always been, so far, when I'm either loading too many videos into Handbrake, or have too many tabs in Firefox, so I am thinking this is a memory management issue with either the iMac, macOS, or both. No errors, just seizing. Sometimes, not very often, the clicks 'play' after a few minutes, which is disconcerting.

But anyway. Anyone else Experiencing this weird issue. Oh, and occasionally, even though I 'wag' the 'to be copied' block in the destination, it will still pop over to the second monitor.

In case I haven't made it clear, I am copying 1 or more files from one drive (internal, or external) to another folder (same drive, or different drive) on the iMac, and the floating 'pointer' to where the files are to be copied to jumps to the middle of the external monitor, even though the destination is on the iMac! And it doesn't make any difference, at time, what I do with the currently dragged files. I try to have them 'land' in the target folder, but occasionally, the flaw will zap the destination to the middle of the second monitor, and the copy usually fails. I mean, at least it does that, and doesn't axe the source files. But still, very strange. Hardware, or software? Voodoo or Applecare?
