Is there a way to completely disable the "double-tap" home button to start the iPod on the iPhone?

Currently, I have the double-tap to open up the camera.......however, when the phone is in lock mode and the home button is double tapped, the iPod turns on.

I don't want the iPod being activated by any means other than tapping on the iPod app icon.

help?

Yes under settings>general>home

You can just set it to go back to you main home screen. Sadly, you cant fully disable it

yes, as i already stated in my OP, i have that setting set to "camera"....but that doesn't solve the issue at hand. if your phone is locked and you double-tap the home button, it will always go to iPod mode regardless of what you have that setting set for.

There is an iPod controls button, if that is what your are talking about that you can switch to off. It is under that same area in my OP
