Double tap to zoom not working...Why? RESOLVED!!!

Everything about my new 11" MBA seems to be working fine except I cannot seem to get the double tap to zoom gesture to work. The pinch gesture works for zoom but not the double tap. Any ideas?

oh double tap to zoom is really a feature? i only knew that the pinch gesture was available, but that only works on safari so make sure thats the browser you are trying these on

Is that under Lion ?

press command+space bar -> in spotlight type trackpad -> System Preferences for the Trackpad

Check that it is enable

Well I already double checked and saw that it was indeed enabled. However it looks like it was the problem of not using Safari. I was using chrome and apparently chrome does not recognize this gesture as of yet. Thanks everyone for your help.
