Double tap?

For the past day or two when I double tab(or double click) to open a file or even play a song on Spotify, it doesn't work.
I checked the trackpad prefs., better touch tools prefs, and xtrafinder prefs, and still can't figure out why double tap isn't working.
I even had those 2 apps not running and it still doesn't work, so I know its not that.
Its annoying since now I have to press cmd+down arrow to open files, double tapping just makes it so I can edit the filename.
What could have I have done to change that?

First thing: Have you tried to Re-Start the computer..??

I believe my previous computer had such a malady once, and restarting fixed it.. Methinks..

Stupid question, but do you have tap to click and double tap to secondary click both enabled? My two finger secondary click was not working and I realized that you had to have tap to click enabled first

Already restarted it when I disabled those two apps on startup, same thing.

I have two finger tap for secondary click not double tap, so thats not the problem, can't quite figure it out...
