Is there any way we can backup setting data of our apps, so we don't need to change their settings each time we update iPhone's firmware?

With updating iPhone's firmware, I mean:
* Restore to OFW
* Update using iTunes
* Jailbreak
* Reinstall apps

But I'd like to restore them by using this safe process, not any other.

Thanks in advance! :apple:

Restore your phone from backup instead of setting it up as new. I know some people don't recommend that but I've always done it and it's never caused any problems for me.

FYI thread bumping and not searching are frowned upon here. Also most questions have been answered and you get faster results searching 1st. ;)

After search... my post was the first one :p

But I'm not here because of that.
I saw PKGBackup already. Does it work from iPhone 3GS to iPhone 4?
