Lately my down arrow does not function properly. I've always been annoyed at the lack of moving my curser down to a selection, say mainly in a browser search box menu. I've given up on trying to tweak that but if someone knows a way to fix that I'd be delighted.
But the problem lies where I cannot 'line down' in a document or any where else where it should just 'line down' as it always would before.
I figured out the only way I can is if I hit option+down arrow. I've tried looking how to remap it correctly but I cannot find a way to change just that key to just "line down'. I've reset my setting to default to try to fix it. No dice.
In many ways I'm about a novice user now. But some things I still feel noobie at especially after having to learn lion after I updated from only having my iMac for a few months prior, as I am new to the mac world.
I cannot remember or not if this function with my down arrow changed after updating to Lion, or after the last update, but I believe so either way as I know it wasn't an issue with SL.
Even if I need to use Terminal, does anyone know a way to fix this? I'm be so happy as this annoyance has now turned into a major frustration.
