I have a powermac G4 that went south so I wiped the hard drive and tried to reinstall panther 10.3.9. on it using the install CDs but every time it says " there were errors installing the software " and please try again" this happens at the 98% point of the install are there any tips that could stop my frustration? Please help!

Double posting on the same topic is generally frowned upon here and against the forum rules. I have posted a potential solution in your more recent thread on the same topic. Just letting you know.
One thread. Do not post a thread more than once. Post a new thread in the proper forum. If the topic is relevant to more than one forum, pick the best fit or most specific forum and post it only once.
