Downcast not playing video in iOS8

Since upgrading, Downcast no longer plays video. It plays audio, but simply displays a black screen for the video.

I've tried multiple different podcasts. I've tried streaming vs downloading. I've deleted and re-installed. Still no video.

Anyone else having this issue or just me?

Same here. No video, just audio. I tried it on the Bill O'Reilly talking points podcast.

I've decided this is an evil ploy by to get us to use their new force-installed podcasts app. lol

Unfortunately their plan worked on me, as I'm now using theirs for my video podcasts until Downcast gets fixed

In case anyone has been watching this thread, the iOS8 update for Downcast just got released and fixes this issue.
