downgrade 3g,4.1 to original 3.1.2

Hey guys i upgraded my 3.1.2 firmware to 4.1. Then jailbroke the 3g. I need to downgrade back to 3.1.2(i want to eventually run 3.1.3)

I downloaded 3.1.3 firmware. And went to restore, to it. I got an error in itunes(1550).

I Never saved any shshblobs, and am not sure weather they were saved automatically.

Whats is the best approach for my situation? should i be able to downgrade to what ever the original firmware to the phone was?

Am i doomed to ios4.1?

To downgrade your 3G from 4.x.x to 3.x.x shsh blobs are not required. You sure it was iPhone error 1550 (that one doesn't exist). It should have been error 1015.

Now you need to use TinyUmbrella to kick your iPhone out of recovery mode.
