Downgrade 4.2.1 to 4.1 and Unlock?

Hi all,

Has anyone downgraded iphone 4 running on iOS 4.2.1 to 4.1 and unlocked it?

Is this the only and the best way to unlock iphone 4 on 4.2.1?

You cannot downgrade an iphone 4 without shsh's of the firmware version you want to downgrade to.
But even if you could the baseband will not be downgraded, just the firmware so you will not be able to unlock it.
You need to be on stock 4.0.2 or below version basebands to unlock.
