hi,

I'm using a iphone 4 jailbroken on 4.1 using limera1n RC4 and something went wrong and my iphone went on a respring loop at lockscreen.

I had saved my SHSH on cydia but not on my computer (TU).

As i had to quickly use my iphone for important reasons (business trip in 24 hours), i decided to upgrade to 4.2.1 and now i'm totally loss on how can i downgrade back to 4.1

Can someone give me clear instructions on how to downgrade?

My itunes is now 10.1 and iphone on 4.21 (8C148)

Modem Firmware 03.10.01

I don't need unlock as my phone is factory unlock.

And is Limera1n still good or should i use greenposion to re-jailbreak?

thanks~:)

You seen to have your SHSHs saved so it is not a problem.

You got a couple of options you can use TU to point your host file to Cydia server (server will use your saved SHSHs to authenticate the firmware), and Option+restore using iTunes (restore to 4.1, google for the link to the firmware if you don't have it) after the restore you can use Limera1n or Greenposi0n (doesn;t really matter they both works and use same exploit)

You can also use Pwnage tool if you got a Mac, cook a 4.1 custom firmware and them use iTunes to restore, this custom firmware will be already jailbroken.

Good luck. :D
