had my iphone 5 stolen in december

broke my iphone 4 this weekend

using my iphone 1g now

i really hope this iphone will last me until the next refresh cycle!

iphone 5>iphone4>iphone1>???

sorry about this pointless thread.

You aren't alone. A lot of people have their iPhones stolen. Last fall I dropped my iPhone 4S walking somewhere and it made it through the whole winter and when the snow all melted the owner managed to contact me but I was one of the lucky ones! How did you break your 4? Could be an easy and cheap repair. On another note, be happy you have a 2G!! Only going to get more valuable as a vintage electronic!

just dropped it and some shattered glass and stopped working...it was already acting up, so it didn't come as a surprise. just can't be bothered shelling out money for another repair now, especially for a slow 4.

Sounds like you are a great candidate for insurance my friend! You could actually USE it!

next phone will definitely come with insurance. bloody expensive these phones!

I dropped my brand new 4S in a cup of tea on the first day, no replacement possible because of the water damage and no insurance. As I was on quite low funds I had to go back to using my 3G for almost a year. Good thing that old phone is such a work horse, in the end I actually enjoyed using it more than I had expected. And it still works perfectly today :)
