hello,

using the iphuc method to downgrade, all is well but when i get to the filecopytophone stage i get a bus error.

the ipod is in DFU mode, it is on 1.1.3 (tried it on 1.1.4) and iphuc is recognising the touch

help me obi wan kenobi, your my only hope.

easiest way to downgrade to 1.1.1 is to get iTunes 7.5 and download the 1.1.1 ipod firmware from here use the home/sleep key method to put ipod in restore mode then in iTunes just hold down the shift key (for windows) or the options key (for macs) and point it to where you downloaded the ipod firmware to on your pc ;)

nice

i was just sat there thinking

'my god i have to downgrade itunes on my mac... arg'

then i thought

THANK GOD FOR BOOTCAMP

the thing is, itunes is easy to uninstall on windows compaired to :apple:

ah well I cant comment there, I am a windows user who cant really put the money together for a mac............ donations are accepted lol
