I have an iPhone 3GS with the new bootrom. I have iOS 5 installed on it and have never saved my shsh blobs. Will I be able to downgrade to 4.3.3?

Nope. Since you do not have SHSH blobs, you can't downgrade to firmware that Apple stops signing.

Few days ago, Apple still signs 4.1 on 3GS, you might want to try to downgrade to 4.1 to see it works.

Alright I'll try it. I don't have to downgrade directly to 4.3.3. I just want to go back to having an untethered jailbreak until one comes out for ios 5.

Hi

i did everything as you explained
now i the version is 4.3.3 can i downgrade it completely and export shsh for 4.3.3 or 4.3.5

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0_1 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A405 Safari/7534.48.3)

If you're on 4.3.3 right now you can try iFaith and see

the phone was running on ios 5 GM, the baseband is 04.11.08
it downgraded to 4.3.3 by referring

If you have a working jailbreak, there is a way to downgrade but I still havent found a way to do the full downgrade. Go to Cydia\Manage\Sources\Edit\Add and add this repo http://repo.insanelyi.com once this is done, go to the search and find ifile, install the one which is free and has no picture thumbnail from insanelyi. Once installed, go into the application and press the back button in the top left corner until u reach \ then navigate yourself to /System/Library/CoreServices/ scroll down to the bottom and click on the file "SystemVersion.plist and open as a property list viewer.Click on ProductBuildVersion and change it to 8J2 and change the ProductVersion to 4.3.3 click done and exit out of ifile. Go back in and go back to /System/Library/CoreServices/ again. IF THERE IS a second file, go into it and view as property List Viewer. If this second file is still Set to 5.0, go into CoreSErvices and delete it. IF THERE IS NO second file, reboot ur phone. The phone will boot up but ALL JAILBROKEN SERVICES will be unavailable. You must Boot From tethered Jailbreak in Redsn0w to use these. Download redsn0w 9.9 any beta and open it up. Click on Extras and go to just boot. It is very important that u r using redsn0w 9.9 or this will not work! follow the instructions and wait until ur device reboots. When rebooting, it will change from the pineapple to the apple and a loading bar will pop up, this is normal because the phone is downgrading. now u can delete the second file or if u already have deleted it, go to settings/general/about and see that ur version is now 4.3.3 but all of the ios 5 features are still available. This is because there wasn't any SHSH blobs for ur downgrade. The phone works perfectly fine and is useful because u dont need to boot tethered now if u just wanna make a call or text message someone. Once u r done this, I have yet to find a way to create new blobs. once i do, i will post on this forums again to tell u how u can fully downgrade to 4.3.3.

now on my phone the version is 4.3.3 and baseband is 04.11.08 (no change)
all features of ios5 gm is there but just the version says 4.3.3

so now can i export or save shsh using any method so that i can downgrade completely to an older version
my phone was never jailbroken nor i have ever exported shsh

jailbroken on ios 5 tethered

I won't claim to be an expert, but I'm fairly certain that just changing the "listed" version on your phone doesn't do anything for you. Apple has stopped signing your blobs for that version, end of story. I don't think there's going to be a way to grab them, as they have to come from Apple's servers. The reason that you have all of the iOS 5 GM features is because that's what your phone is still running. As far as I can tell all you did was change some text that was displayed, I don't think that has much practical value.
