Downgrade iOS 5 to iOS 4.3.5 on iPad 1

Updated to iOS 5 and my iPad 1 is SOOO laggy. Please can you help with any tips on how to downgrade it to 4.3.5?

You need to have your shsh saved, And i am not sure but i think you need to have iTunes 10.4 to downgrade.

Thanks - is that the only way? Achhhh...wish Apple wouldn't do this kinda thing.
