How to downgrade an iPhone 5S from iOS 8.1 to iOS 7.1.2 using SHSH blobs? This is an iPhone 5S with the Verizon carrier. I "fully" understand you can't do it without blobs because iTunes stopped signing so I am not asking, so how do you do this with blobs?

BTW, you could request SHSH blobs directly in TU, right?

Blobs haven't been relevant since iOS 5. They were broken in iOS 6 and as of iOS 7 Apple doesn't use them anymore.

Currently is not possible to downgrade an iphone 4S,5, 5C or 5S even if you have blobs saved.
Only iphone 3GS and iphone 4.

Great! Thank you! When you say it is currently is not possible, do you mean it will be some day in the future?

The way the current APTicket system works, it's impossible to do a replay attack like we used to in the past. The only way to downgrade would be to bypass the ticket requirement all together. BootROM exploit could do it, but there could also be some creative exploits where a newer iBoot is vulnerable and allows an old firmware to be loaded
