I've searched, both on Developers' forums and here but there's no information about Error 1015 during downgrading of iOS5

I've tried this many times but every time, it gets stuck in the Restore Loop and no matter what I use, I cannot get out of the Restore Loop.

Has anyone else got this before? If so, how did you fix it?

Also, any other suggestions to try to fix the restore loop or a different way of restoring?

The method I'm using is:

- Put iPhone into DFU Mode
- Restore with 4.3.5 ipsw Official (Not Jailbroken or Custom)

So far, I only have this issue with the iPhone 3GS, not the iPad 1st Gen.

Use Tiny umbrella and the latest recovery fix from them. Once in DFU mode, run it and it will kick the phone out of recovery mode. I'll post the link to it in a jiffy.

Download the program and the recovery fix and you'll be good to go.

I tried that. I've tried iRecovery and the Recovery Fix from TinyUmbrella. Didn't work, just went back into recovery mode.

I think, it has an issue with the Firmware, being properly restored but I cannot be 100% sure.

Installing iOS5 b5 through restore works perfectly.

Hm, when I went from 4.3.5 to 4.3.3 I used that and it worked, took a few tries. I followed this guide: http://www.jailbreakiphone.me/2011/07/downgrade-435-to-43x-iphone-4-3gs-ipad.html

I'll try it again, this time with a cleared "hosts" file to see if its preventing iTunes to contact Apple. I'm restoring to a Current firmware so it shouldn't require SHSH saving or anything.

If it doesn't work, I'll just restore back to iOS5b5 with a Back Up file like before. It's just frustrating.

Did you downgrade to iTune 10.4?

Tried that, didn't work.

According to my Update logs, it appears that its caused by the baseband being unable to downgrade.

Here's the segment of the log that shows error/problems:
