Downgrade ip4?

Well I upgraded my 4s yesterday and downgraded back to 5.01 without a hitch. This morning when I was extracting my girlfriends comb from the dryer motor she decided to upgrade to 5.1.1…

I've been searching on a how to to downgrade again to accompish an untethered jailbreak. No success… Jailbreak tethered no problem. She said she did have her blobs saved on Cydia.

I did try to stich the ispws with the new redsnow but gave me an error saying only available for the 4s. Any help and a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks.:confused:
 
As long as you have full blobs for the i4 you can downgrade by using them.
Make sure when you use redsnow go to extras, manually specify an ipsw and point it to the stock 5.0.1 iphone 4 firmware.
Then stitch your blobs to the no bb custom iphone 4 ipsw you created, put your i4 in pwned dfu and restore to it.
 
Thanks I'll give that a try when she gets home from work. Should I be using the newest redsnow 0.9.11b4?

Ok looks like that ispw isn't supported in that redsnow. I'll go find b1.
 
I think the latest version will work.
Just make sure you tell it you're using an i4 not a 4S. And the way to do that is by pointing it to the stock 5.0.1 iphone 4 firmware.
That's why it was telling you only available for the 4S.
after that go to extras/shsh blobs/stitch/ipsw and point it to the custom 5.0.1 i4 ipsw you created earlier.
 
Thanks Applejuiced worked perfectly. I did get a different Redsnow though but she is up and running again. I forgot what a hassle it is jail breaking a ip4 being on the 4s...:D

Yes as it goes jb seems to becoming harder as Apple more agresively tries to stop it.
