Is it possible to downgrade from 3 to 2? Because that is such a big update and i heard a lot of the firmware itself was updated along with the software. What will happen if you do try to downgrade?

There are some on MacRumors that could, some that couldn't. If you can put your iPhone into DFU mode, then you should be able to. I haven't upgraded to Beta yet so I don't know firsthand.
