iPhone Downgrade to 6.1.4 with SHSH

Hi Everyone, finally I decided that I want to upgrade to iOS 7. I also saved the 6.0.1 and 6.1.4 shsh, just curious in case if there's any issue and would like to downgrade back to iOS 6 is that possible with the shsh I saved?

Also I am curious, I tried using the latest TinyUmbrella to save the iOS 7 shsh but wasn't able to get it. Is it because Apple stop allowing us to save SHSH for iOS 7 or just because I haven't yet upgrade to iOS 7 so I can't save the 7 shsh?

You can only downgrade if you have an iPhone 4 with complete SHSH blobs with the APT ticket.

I see, so pretty much if I upgrade then I can't downgrade even with SHSH saved. That means I will lose the jailbreak as no JB is available for iOS 7.

Is that's why TinyUmbrella is also not letting me to save iOS SHSH?

Also I saved SHSH for my iPhone 4, wonder how to check whether I have the APT ticket? I just used TU to save the SHSH.

TinyUmbrella hasn't been updated for iOS 7.0.4 at this time. Because of that it will not be able to save any SHSH blobs.

It should all be good if you got it directly from apple. As of now, there's no program that will help check iOS 7 blobs

Everytime you manually grab an SHSH blob directly from apple, the blob's apticket should be active. For shsh blobs for version of iOS 6 and under, use ifaith to check if they're valid. For an iphone 4, as long as you have complete shsh blobs, you will be able to downgrade

for any device iphone 4s and higher, ipad 2 and higher, ipod touch 5th gen and higher, there is no way to downgrade even if you have shsh blobs saved

shsh blobs are really only useful for iphone 4 and under devices and devices on iOS 5

Even with saved blobs you cannot downgrade an iPhone 5.
About the iPhone 4 yes you can downgrade it if you have shsh blobs saved.

Redsn0w allows 6.x/7.x to 5.x restores on iPad 2 as long as you have shsh for 4.3.x and 5.x, can you downgrade to 6.x using the same method?

I heard that Redsn0w baseband update code was broken by iOS 7's bb, is that true?

See TriJetHero's post above. Apple's iOS 6 SHSH blobs are different in that a bootrom exploit is required to reuse them.
