Downgrade to 9.3.2

I may have Bluetooth issues in my car with 9.3.3. Garbled audio on iPhone calls. If so, I may downgrade.

First time to do so.

My research says download the 9.3.2 ipsw file, open iTunes with iPhone connected.

Hold down shift key then select Restore iPhone.

Select 9.3.2.

Obviously have a good backup

Is it that easy, any thing else to be aware of?

Do these downgrades generally go well?

Thanks

It's that easy (assuming you have the correct IPSW for your model/carrier).

As long as Apple is signing the firmware.

Once Apple stops signing it…it's impossible.

Thanks eyoungren. I will check file for carrier. I just got one for my iPhone. Didn't see carrier mentioned. Can't check file atm. Hope I don't need to downgrade. Want the security updates.

I just mentioned that because there are some phones that your need the right IPSW for the carrier. It may or may not apply to your situation.

I saw one on ATT forum for OTA download. Any issue with that. I can get links when at home. The ATT link would be when it first came out.

I am not quite sure I understand, but OTA downgrade is impossible :)...the only right way is DFU restore with IPSW 9.3.2 you have to download first. And hurry, before Apple stops signing it.
