Downgrading firmware question?

If I downgrade from 4.0.2 back to 4.0.1, after completing the downgrade, will I not be able to restore from a pre-4.0.2 backup or somehow keep all my files (contacts, settings, etc) and what not?

PS Dont ask about why I upgraded, I hadnt intended/wanted to.

I don't see why not. It's just that restoring from backups causes issues, battery drain and what not.

aslong as you got your SHSH blobs saved and your host files set up correctly your shouldn't have any problems downgrading to 4.0.1 and loading up one of your backups

if you really want to be on the safe side you can select a backup that you made prior to the upgrade to 4.0.2 in itunes
