I have a few friends that have said this is possible but i have yet found a way to do this without formatting my whole drive.

Does anyone know how to do this? I need it to run Pro Tools on my mac and .10 does not allow you to run it.

Thanks.

Archive & Install from the install disk that comes with the Mac. Then apply the 10.4.9 combo update.

Sorry to sound a bit dumb but im new to mac's and what do you mean by achieve and install?

If I may ask, why do you want to do this?

The trouble seems silly to me.

I need to do this because Pro tools does not allow you to run itself with 10.4.10. Although i have just found a script on the digidesign website that will in itself fix this. Fingers crossed

strongly oppose this action, don't expose your machine to any security risks.
