i have downloaded and saved OS X mavericks 10.9.5 before and is in .app extension.
my macbook pro is mid 2012 and when i bought it,OS X 10.9.4 is pre installed..

Thanks for the reply !
can i use usb bootable ??for it.
I don't know about internet recovery.

The best way to do this (assuming you have not already upgraded to Yosemite) is to use either CarbonCopyCloner or SuperDuper to create a bootable clone of your internal drive BEFORE you upgrade.

Then -- if you're unhappy with Yosemite -- you can just boot from the clone, re-initialize the internal drive, and then "re-clone" the contents of your backup BACK TO the internal drive.
