Download Clients????

So I just got my new macbook pro and am trying to download some programs, are there any other download p2p programs besides Limewire or bittorrent?????

I'd like to push this a step further and ask about download managers, for http / ftp trasnfers. Ones that maybe offer multiple sources, resume etc...
