ny somewhere
i have a file on my website available for download. if i click on the link in chrome, it works. but if i click on the link in safari, i get this:

Page Not Found
The page you are looking for might have been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable. Please try the following:

  • If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.
  • Click the Back button in your browser to try another link.
  • Use a search engine like Google to look for information on the Internet.

any ideas? very frustrating...

EDIT: i tried creating a different file, and THAT works in chrome, AND firefox... but not safari...

EDIT2: hmm. seems to NOT work in safari if the file is in the root folder on my site. just moved it to a subfolder, and it's working there. DAMN YOU SAFARI! o_O
