Hiya. I've got a PPC G5 running 10.5.8 and I'm wondering if there are any download managers that still work with most sites? On my new mac I use JD2, but that's not compatible with most sites anymore on my PPC. Thanks

Safari->Window->Downloads works well for me

EDIT: JDownloader has an option to download for 10.6 or lower. Try that, its Java based

Thank you, but it states
"Does NOT work on Leopard, Installing on Leopard will damage your Java installation.
Leopard already includes a version of Java 6, but it only functions on 64-bit intel processors."
In the meantime, using webarchieve I found the leopard and lower instalation file.
It installs just fine.

Well, I am not a Java expert, but the quote is just someone's opinion. Comments below just say the tutorial “doesn’t work” in a sense that some apps fail to see Java 6, while the OS sees it. So it’s incomplete, but in fact works.
