I have just converted from pc to a mac is there any recomends for a good download manager ?

Is Safari's or Firefox' or Opera's built in simple download manager not enough?

I have seen many threads (found via MRoogle), where the download manager fracked up the system and was hard to remove.

Do you have the name of what download manager you have used for what kind of files?
