Download manager?

Hi guys,

I'm very new to Mac... just switched over completely from PC.

I was using internet download manager and it was very easy and simple to use.
I have been using Jdownload for the last week and it was super annoying... sometimes it doesnt work properly and a few other glitches..

just wondering if you could point out an app that can easily and simply download any videos from any websites (i'm an internet marketer, so sometimes i need to be able to download from amazing, evp etc)

I don't have any experience with using this to download videos, but I tried this a few weeks ago when my wife needed to download a multi-gigabyte game update (we have slow DSL) and I was able to pause and resume the download without issue. It's a plug-in for Mozilla Firefox.

I'm only using Chrome and... would love an app or plugin for chrome..

I'm sure they gotta be people who use these programs no?
