Download Managers for iPad3

Basically I want to be able to click on a link and have the file downloaded to my iPad and then if it is a video, I will play it in AVPlayer for example. How can I do this without going the itunes sync route with my laptop. Is there download managers that can do this on the iPad.

Any suggestions.
